The Cannes Film Festival puts the honor of Bharat Parv front and center.

The first-ever Bharat Parva, an evening celebrating the rich culture, food, and handicrafts of India together with Indian film, was held by Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Shri Sanjay Jaju on the French Riviera during the present Cannes Film Festival.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, sponsored the event, which was successfully organized by NFDC in collaboration with FICCI. The Cannes delegates thoroughly enjoyed the evening’s outstanding performances and delectable selection of fusion food.

Along with actors Rajpal Yadav, Bobby Bedi, Richie Mehta, singer Shaan, filmmaker Ashok Amritraj, and other celebrities, Shri. Jaju unveiled the posters for the 55th edition of IFFI and the save-the-date poster for the first-ever World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES), the Global Entertainment and Media Summit, which is scheduled to take place alongside the 55th IFFI in Goa.
