The renowned Burj Khalifa in Dubai was lighted up with the Indian Tricolor hours before Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s keynote speech at the 2024 World Governments Summit on Wednesday (February 14).
As part of his two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Prime Minister will today open the BAPS Mandir, Abu Dhabi’s first Hindu temple.
Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum extended “a warm welcome to the Republic of India, the guest of honour at this year’s World Governments Summit” in a post on X on Tuesday night.
“We send a cordial greeting to the Republic of India, the guest of honour at this year’s World Governments Summit, and His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. The close relations between our countries serve as a paradigm for world collaboration,” he remarked.
