Anushka Sharma has a sweet reaction to hubby Virat Kohli’s RCB bagging a rousing win

Ace cricketer Virat Kohli is crushing it as usual. On Thursday, he led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to an impressive victory against Gujarat Titans (GT). His latest feat comes after lukewarm performances in previous matches this season. The cricketer managed to score 73 runs from 54 balls, and the match ended with an eight-wicket triumph. Elated with the win, actress Anushka Sharma showed her support for her husband. 
Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to celebrate Virat Kohli’s win after the match. In her story, she shared a picture of Virat raising his bat in the air. She also dropped a heart and praying hands emoji.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently underway in Mumbai. This season, Virat Kohli seemed to be off his game. But judging from yesterday’s performance, it looks like he’s in form again. 

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma is also honing her cricket skills. The actress is all set to portray a cricketer in her upcoming film, Chakda Xpress. The sports biopic will see her portray former women’s cricket captain Jhulan Goswami.

To prepare for the role, Anushka also got Virat Kohli involved. In an earlier interview, the actress revealed that he gives her feedback. “We definitely discuss my progress. Whenever I’ve had a good day learning, I like to share my videos with Virat, to get his feedback. Luckily, he’s not a bowler so I listen to my coach more. But I do turn to Virat for batting tips,” she said. 

Anushka Sharma was last seen on the big screen in Anand L. Rai’s 2018 film Zero, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She also produced Paatal Lok and Bulbbul,  via her Clean Stale Filmz. Chakda Xpress will mark her return to movies after a hiatus.
