Ajay Devgn talks about how he chose the cast for his directorial Runway 34

Ajay Devgn is well-known for his keen eye for powerful content and his ability to create entertaining cinematic experiences for audiences. Runway 34, his next film, is yet another attempt by the director to transport audiences to a historic flight ride. Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Boman Irani play pivotal roles in the film. Devgn explained why the film was titled Runway 34 in a 34-second video, as the hashtag suggests. He said, it is like the runway of life with “zero visibility, no vision, dangerous brace for impact.”  In a black-and-white video, Ajay Devgn discusses the special journey of Runway 34 with the lead cast and why he chose them. “Amit ji is a legend, Rakul looked very real as a co-pilot and Boman is terrific.”

Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani, Aakanksha Singh, and Angira Dhar are among the film’s diverse cast members. Runway 34, directed and produced by Ajay Devgn, is set to be released on April 29, 2022, around Eid.
