Nawazuddin Siddiqui, The Versatility King of India goes Global
Versatility King of Bollywood Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is known for his roles in GOW duology, Miss Lovely, Lunchbox, Raman Raghav 2.0., Manjhi – The Mountain Man, Manto, Thackeray, Raat Akeli Hai, & recently Serious Men.
The actor has portrayed en number of roles for which his performances were appreciated by the audiences and the critics alike. Now the actor has added another feather to his hat, as he has been nominated by EMMY International.
The actor is nominated against actors like David Tenant, Roy Nik, Christian in the Best Performance as an Actor (Male) category.
The actor’s work has been nominated earlier too for EMMY’S for two of shows and his international show Mc Mafia won an award for Best Drama Series at the 47th International Emmy awards, and it was Nawazuddin Siddiqui who lifted the award for the entire team at the stage.
When asked Nawazuddin he shared, “For me getting recognised and nominated on such a huge level is something I had never dreamt of in my wildest dreams. David Tenant who is nominated with me in the same category makes me feel extremely special. I have watched Des, Hamlet and many other films. He is a performer to watch for and he portrays every scene and character to its perfection and getting nominated alongside such a talented man means a lot”
On the work front the actor has a few films ready to release such as, Jogira Sa Ra Ra, Heropanti 2, Adbhut and No Land’s Man which was premiered at Busan International Film Festival & Cairo International Film Festival.
