FRIENDS Reunion: Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer reveal they used to cuddle on the sets
Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer have stated on the F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion episode that the two of them were crushing on each other during the shooting of the show and would also cuddle together on the couch at times. Aniston and Schwimmer play sometimes-lovers, Ross and Rachel on the evergreen show and also have a baby together. During the reunion episode, the stars revealed that while they did have feelings for each other, they were both in relationships at the time and did not cross that boundary.
“I just remember saying one time to David, it’s gonna be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television. Sure enough! First time we kissed was in that coffee shop,” Aniston said, adding: “We just channeled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel.” When the show came to an end in 2004, the two characters had gotten back together. “We were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship. So we never crossed that boundary, you know. We respected that,” said Schwimmer. He also said that “in the very first year or two when we had breaks from rehearsal, there were moments when we would cuddle on the couch.”
