AR Rahman, Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn and more pay their respects to music director Shravan Rathod

One of the most celebrated composer duo of the ‘90s, Nadeem and Shravan have won several Filmfare Awards for their work in films like Aashiqui, Saajan, Deewana and Raja Hindustani. They thrived in the romantic era of the ‘90s and gave music to songs that starred actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and more. 

Last night, the sad news of the demise of Shravan Kumar Rathod broke all over social media. The maestro music director passed on after complication due to COVID-19 at the age of 66. A sorrowful day for the industry and people who have worked with him, celebrities paid their last respects to him with prayers and condolences on social media. 

AR Rahman wrote, “Our Music community and your fans will miss you immensely,” while Madhuri Dixit remembered him and said, “our name will live on forever through your timeless melodies. Thank you for your music & for being a part of my journey with Saajan, Raja & more films.”
