Yash Raj Films announces their line-up of films to release in 2021
The film industry has faced incomparable losses in 2020 because of the pandemic. There have been petitions going on demanding to open up theatres as the losses need to be recovered. The theatres opened up some time back, however, it was just recently that the decision of full occupancy was granted. Now seems the perfect time for banners like Yash Raj Films to come up with their interesting line-up of films, all ready to hit the silver screen this year after a long hiatus.
The movie list consists of – The Dibakar Banerjee directorial – Sandeep & Pinky Faraar, slated to release on 19th March, 2020 with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in the lead role, Varun V. Sharma directorial Bunty Aur Babli 2 releasing on 23rd April, 2021- has an ensemble cast with names like Rani Mukherjee, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutant Sharvari, Karan Malhotra directorial Shamshera releasing on 25th June, 2021 with Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles, Jayeshbhai Jordaar directed by Divyang Thakkar is slated to release on 27th August, 2021 – one of the most exciting projects of Ranveer Singh till date, where he will be joined by Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah essaying important roles and the last one for the year – Prithviraj directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi with Akshay Kumar in the lead role – paired opposite debutant Manushi Chillar, the cast also has Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. The list looks explosive with the varied content that Yash Raj Films has in store for its audience. It’s strong enough to get audiences back to the theatres to enjoy the magic of the big screen.
