Actress Sanya Malhotra has really stunned the audience with her astounding characters in her films. This time around, she is all set to wow the audience with her role in Shakuntala Devi, where the actress will play the role of Shakuntala Devi’s daughter, Anupama Banerji.
Talking about her upcoming film Sanya said, “Working on Shakuntala Devi has
been a very fulfilling experience. Being a part of such a talented cast and
crew was very special – especially since this one explored a mother-daughter
equation.”
She further added, “Not something we see very much of in Bollywood. I, of
course shared a lovely chemistry with Vidya ma’am. Similarly, I was also
fortunate to spend a lot of time with Jisshu who plays my father in the
film”. Shakuntala Devi stars Vidya Balan in the lead and Sanya plays her
daughter. Amit Sadh too plays a crucial role in the film. Shakuntala Devi
releases on July 31, 2020.
