Hirav Mehta is Mr Kandivali and Pooja Kava is Miss Kandivali 2019: An unforgettable fashion saga at KES College.
Months before the crowning moments of Miss and Mr Kandivali, the registration process for Miss and Mr Kandivali had started through an online process on the website of Miss and Mr Kandivali. Miss and Mr Kandivali was an open platform for aspiring models (male and female) under the age of 26 years.
Let us delve into the details of this magnanimous fashion contest. The event was conceptualized and managed by Qnox Advertising (of Yash and Vaishali fame). With every detail meticulously planned right from the auditions to stage management. Qnox Advertising is an established name in the fashion event arena and is the owner of India’s most prestigious beauty pageant Miss Fabb India.
With over 3000 online registrations for Miss and Mr Kandivali, a select few were called for the auditions on November, 2019 at KES College. Of the participants that auditioned for the show, a total of 80 participants were selected for the finale show which happened on the 20th December, 2019 on the KES College Grounds. The finalist contestants underwent rigorous training and grooming sessions and were choreographed by Vaishali Varma.
Now coming to the outfits for the show, the outfits were designed by the KES School of Design students. There were various themes and designs right from Designer Sarees to BOHO, Funky street
wear for the boys and elegant dresses for the girls. The show was judged by eminent jury members from the modelling and fashion fraternity. The jury also included winners of Miss Fabb Mumbai and Mr Fabb Mumbai.
And after weeks of practice, choreography and dress trails, it was showtime on the evening of 20th December, 2019. The show began with display of various themes, various clothing lines and was a sight like KES College had never seen before. With the thundering applause and cheer of over 7000 students watching the event live, the venue was no less than a festival. With every model trying their best to win the coveted title of Miss Kandivali and Mr Kandivali, there was a whiff of suspense in the
air as the last round which was the introduction round began, wherein every model had to give a brief introduction about themselves.
The jury members were looking for an overall personality who had the poise, the stage presence and who could be a perfect model. After 8 rounds of designer clothing and 1 introduction round, it was time to know who would be Miss Kandivali and who would be Mr Kandivali. The title every college going aspiring model was vying for.

The show ended with celebration and photoshoot for the media. The main winners had a double celebration as the Miss Kandivali winner and Mr Kandivali would be getting direct entry to India’s most prestigious beauty pageant Miss Fabb and Mr Fabb. The memories of the show will forever be etched in the memories of KES College and the participants of the show.
