De De Pyaar De is doing pretty good at the box office

The Akiv Ali directorial, starring Tabu and Rakul Preet alongside Ajay Devgn, De De Pyaar De earns a total of Rs 50.83 crore in five days after its release. De De Pyaar De released on May 17.

Taran Adarsh the famous film trade analyst tweeted, “#DeDePyaarDe crosses ₹ 50 cr on Day 5… Trends strongly on weekdays… Fri 10.41 cr [incl Thu previews], Sat 13.39 cr, Sun 14.74 cr, Mon 6.19 cr, Tue 6.10 cr. Total: ₹ 50.83 cr. India biz. #DDPD”

While the film is receiving a good word of mouth, critics did not seem happy. The film is a romantic comedy that revolves around a man who is caught between two women who are from different generations. The gap in their age leads to funny situations as Ajay’s Ashish Mehra tries to help his young girlfriend fit into his family.
