De De Pyaar De earned Rs 10.41 Crore on Day 1

De De Pyaar De starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu released in theatres yesterday. It has minted Rs 10.41 crore on its opening day.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the latest figures. He wrote, “#DeDePyaarDe picked up towards evening after a dull start… Occupancy was higher in evening/night shows… Strong reports should ensure a turnaround on Day 2 and 3… Fri ₹ 10.41 cr [incl Thu previews]. India biz. #DDPD.”

The film is directed by Akiv Ali. Its written and produced by Luv Ranjan. The film follows the story of a middle-aged man who is dating a woman half his age, while also dealing with his ex-wife. Javed Jaffrey, Jimmy Shergill and Alok Nath are seen playing supporting characters.
