Alia Bhatt buys apartment near under-construction Kapoor bungalow, gifts two apartments to sister
On the same day that Alia Bhatt bought a new apartment in Bandra for Rs 38 crore, she gave her sister Shaheen two combined apartments in Juhu.
Actor Alia Bhatt has reportedly purchased a new flat in Mumbai through her production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The 2,497 sq ft apartment is located in the posh Pali Hill area of Bandra West, just down the road from the under-construction new Kapoor bungalow. Alia and her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, are expected to move into the family bungalow upon its completion.
According to Hindustan Times, Alia purchased the new apartment for Rs 37.8 crore. Registration for the apartment, which is located on the sixth floor of the Aerial View Cooperative Housing Society Limited, was done on April 10. Alia also gifted two flats in Juhu to her sister Shaheen the same day.
The new Pali Hill apartment comes with two parking spots, and according to documents accessed and shared by Indextap.com, Alia paid Rs 2.26 crore in stamp duty. She paid Rs 30 lakh stamp duty for the registration of the gift deed for her two Juhu apartments, which have floor space of 2,086 sq ft.
Alia and Ranbir currently live in an apartment complex called Vastu, also in Pali Hill. This is where the couple got married last year. In 2022, Alia and Ranbir also welcomed their first child, daughter Raha, and starred together for the first time in the film Brahmastra. Ranbir has since starred in the romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, while Alia is awaiting the release of her own rom-com, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
